Q: Why are you wearing those ridiculously short shorts?
A: F%#k you I don’t need a reason.

Pretty excited by the lines of this coffee maker I picked up for the WBSC. (It’s made by Norelco!) They just don’t design ‘em like they used to. Also pretty excited that it was only 5 bucks at Savers.
I painted that fishy night light myself. Nice, huh?
I bought a white shirt today.
This is a first.
(Protip: For $5 Macy’s will press your new shirt. This comes in particularly handy if the reason you’re buying the shirt in the first place is starting in 15 minutes.)
Parked outside of Intermedia Arts.
Lunchtime Observation #2:
On the Twin Cities street food tip, Joe’s Hot Dogs is now open on the NE corner of Sibley & 5th Street. Large Polish with chips and a pop: $5.25.
Also: first Mountain Dew in about 6 years. (I think I’m probably good for another 6.)
Lunchtime Observation #1:
They just turned on the man-made creek at Mears Park in St. Paul.
I didn’t have $3.00 so I took this instead.
Tonight’s commute home -late edition- was brought to you by bus, light rail (seen here at the Ceder-Riverside station), & bicycles like you. Without your continued support my car-free lifestyle would not be possible.
My upper lip needs a haircut. GPOYW.
Just look at the size of that tall bike, incredible! The shorter of the two isn’t too shabby either.
Spotted yesterday on the 2500 block of 15th Avenue South.
We spent yesterday out on Ralph Lentz’s farm.
We ate elk with morels and gravy, wild rice, ramps, and asparagus. We drank local beers from Lift Bridge and Flat Earth and local wine from Crofut. Deserts were pot-luck style and I was reminded that rhubarb upside down cake might be the greatest damn thing ever invented. At night we camped at Frontenac State Park on a bluff overlooking the Mississippi River at Lake Pepin. This morning we drove down to Kellog to visit Lark Toys (where I finally bought Settlers of Catan) before heading back up 61 home.
Dear Employers,
Three day weekends every week please.
Yours,

On my way home from work.
Mom, Grandma: Happy Mother’s Day.
Sister: Don’t go getting any ideas.
The best decision I’m going to make all day.
From last week’s meetup. More pics here.
