Ideas for 2009.
Looking back at a year’s worth of posts here at Tumble Like You Give A Damn, I’ve come up with this list of projects and other things to do in 2009.
- Finish writing curriculum for and begin teaching The Art of Short-format Storytelling at the Twin Cities Experimental College.
- Re: Solutions Twin Cities, Start paying myself for what I love to do. Find us a god-damned storefront for our Storefront For Ideas. Finish getting all of our videos online! (This has been haunting us for FAR too long.)
- Organize a Carrotmob in the Twin Cities.
- Do more style blogging.
- Make one hotdish a week for one year with my beautiful girlfriend and co-blog about it. Get coffee table book deal. Profit.
- Find another storefront somewhere in the Twin Cities for for Shanai and I to live/ work/ and do events out of.
- Finish growing a 3.5 inch beard. Collect $40 from friends. Get reviewed on the Beard Revue (9.3 is the score to beat).
- Twin Cities Hooky Day!!!
- Fix up my road bike. Or just eff it and get one of these.
- Make a Scraper Bike for fun. Possibly start a Twin Cities Scraper Bike Crew.
- Help make 2009’s PARK(ing) Day the best ever.
- Stop mistaking Hawaiian Punch for Tahitian Treat.
- Start saving for a small house.
- Do whatever I can to help local small arts organizations like Intermedia Arts.
- Build a skrammellegepladsen.
- Finally: Post more photos, make more Koolicles, and learn to love idleness.
If I do just half of these things, I think 2009 is going to be a fantastic year. And finally, a resolution:
- Be a better acquaintance, an even better friend, and an even better lover.
