Last week as I was calling upon Shanai, her older friend and chaperon made this etching of us to commemorate the night. (OK, OK - it was more of a early afternoon.) She had just called me by my first name for the very first time and I was ecstatic.

I’ve been her gentleman caller now for over a year. FML.
